Initially, Spark2Code was founded to inspire middle school students into the field of computer science because the middle schools in SDUHSD district did not offer computer science in the academic curriculum. Now, Spark2Code’s mission has expanded to impact a broader demographic, such as providing educational opportunities internationally. We do not want students’ potential to be limited by a lack of computer science resources. Our goal is to create a new generation of passionate programmers that will positively impact the world and the communities around them.
